We have two primary mailing lists, the public list (aka ChitChat), and the private, members only list (aka General), both running on GNU Mailman. Both lists are synchronized* with the forums, so you can use either (or both) without missing anything. You can manage your subscription (or lack thereof) at the portal page for each list:
- ChitChat, the public list – Anyone is free to join and post to this list. Most disscussions and announcements will happen here.
- General, the members list – This list is for discussions that concern paying member. Please use the ChitChat list for disscussions that are not directly related to the operation of the space or is not for members only.
* Our forums run on FUDForum, which provides the mailing list integration we use to keep the two synchronized. Unfortunately, this system is not without its caveats. We ask that you read the forum and mailing list introduction before using either.
