The Bright Ideas Expo is a one day event where you can engage with innovative minds in our community and get an inside look at the creative process. Join us on Saturday, July 16th from 10am to 4pm at the Saint Louis Science Center and you’ll be able to meet creative people in our region, including hackers, visual artists, do-it-yourselfers, actors, musicians and crafters to name a few.

Makerspaces and Hackerspaces – Visit Arch Reactors table in the Science Center’s Makerspace on the 3rd Floor. Learn more about what a Maker space and Hackerspace can do for you and you can get involved. Learn to Solder Workshop – Find the Soldering work shop in the Maker Garage in the Science Center’s Makerspace. You can purchase an LED pin kit for $5 and Arch Reactor volunteers will teach you how to solder it. |
Processing and Sparki Robot Workshops – Find this workshop on the Maker Calssroom in the Science Center’s Makerspace. This is a First Come First Serve self paced workshop where you can learn programming using Processing and learn a little about programming robots using Sparki. Arch Reactor volunteers will be on hand to guide you and help make your experience successful.
