Tool Description

The horizontal bandsaw cuts large pieces of metal, wood, or plastic into smaller, precisely measured sections by using a continuous, toothed band blade that moves vertically down into a stationary workpiece held in a vise. Its fixed horizontal blade path makes it ideal for cutting long stock to length or for creating angled (miter) cuts by swiveling the saw head.

This horizontal bandsaw is from Central Machinery (Harbor Freight) and has a cutting capacity of 7 inches by 12 inches. It has three different speeds (in SPM): 235, 140, and 95. It uses blades that are 0.75 inches by 0.032 inches by 93 inches.
