I really hate doing these things. Seriously, I never know what to write about myself.

I do a little of everything. By day, I'm a systems analyst/compudork for a very large aerospace company. By night, I have many hobbies, such as costuming, building things, leather working, you name it, I probably tried it once. I travel all over the country to Science Fiction and costume conventions to compete or help with costume competitions.

Favorite Music: Eclectic, seriously so. Currently enjoying everything from They might be Giants to NIN to Stray Cats to Charles Nakai (native american flute) I'll try anything. Pseudo random sampling from my iPod: Oingo Boingo, Soul Asylum, Dave Matthews Band, Brian Setzer Orchastra, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Dean Martin, Harry Belefonte, Royal Crown Revue, Urge, Cake, Blondie, Chumbawumba, Conjunto Siniestro, Dead Kennedys, Depeche Mode, A ridiculous assortment of 70's and 80's punk.. you get the idea.
Favorite TV Shows: Firefly, Danger Mouse, Scrubs, Mythbusters, Deadliest Catch, Monk, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Futurama, Dr. Who and Battlestar Galactica.. at the moment.
Favorite Movies: Another random sampling: Serenity, The Mummy, Bubba Ho Tep, Fight Club, Kill Bill, Harry Potter(all Of Them), Pulp Fiction, Anything Hayao Miyazaki ever made, Star Wars 4-6 (Han shot first, dammit), Matrix, Freaks (Tod Browning), Anything directed by John Lasseter, Star Trek (the odd numbered) and on and on.
Favorite Books: All of them? Seriously, my book collection is a good 500 strong and showing no signs of slowing down... Favorite Authors: Douglas Adams, Terry Goodkind, Issac Asimov, Robert Heinlein, Larry Niven, Alan Dean Foster, Jack Kerouac, Robert Jordon, George R.R. Martin, Terry Pratchett, Eric Flint, Ben Bova, Arthur C Clarke... Love the Old School SF, you know, back when it was perfectly acceptable to make the second half of a chapter the explanation of the mathematics behind that cool thing you just came up with in the first half!
