Project Cleanup Policy for the Public Space and Workshop
- Stop working on your project early to give enough time for you to properly clean up.
- Clean off all table/workbench tops used of all trash, project materials, tools, and other items. When you leave, all table tops should be empty
- Return workbenches, tables, chairs and other fixtures to their standard locations
- Clean all tools of dust, sawdust, cloth, oil, or other debris
- Return all tools to their proper storage locations
- Unplug all tools
- Return all unused Common Raw Material to its proper storage locations
- Store all of your Member Project Material in your personal project storage area
- Put all trash into trash cans
- Trash bags must be used
- Follow the Trash Removal Procedure if the can is full or contains food trash.
- Sweep all debris from floor or carpet. This may require moving benches and tables to get debris that has scattered during work
- Empty the shop vacuum if it is filled
- Erase the white board or mark your stuff with a date on which it can be erased (no longer than 1 week)
