John our landlord got a hold of Deech and asked that if we are doing anything up on the roof to let John know. We still aren't charged, it’s just a courtesy call to make sure it’s available. Talk to Deech if you need to set up something.

Group Projects –

Metal Casting - Ryan has his MakerBot functional. Seen a bunch online about forging and is very interested in it as a group project. Concerns about where to do it. Would prefer a propane burner. Concerns are spills in parking lot, etc. Ryan will take lead and put together a parts list.

Taylor likes soldering. Wants to do a giant blinky glowing Arch Reactor logo.

Darrell – Bill, the electrician that has been consulting on our conduit and electrical work, has offered to do two classes on conduit ending and pellet pistols (beyond airsoft) Schedule for sometime in November.

Chris wants to give a MySql class.

Bob wants to hold a Python/game programming class

Deech – some costuming workshops for Halloween Morgan – Tactical Corset workshop. Dreadlock wig workshop costume workshops on Monday during art reactor in October.

Daniel and Bob want to build a Minecraft server.

Membership Let’s call October “Bring a friend month” all classes and workshops open to the public. Only cost is materials. We get money when they join.

Need emissary for Midwest Geek MeetUp at Brentwood. Jason volunteered to be our emissary.

John is concerned about flyers. He is stalled because we plan month to month. Too short notice to print up flyers that get passed out. Let’s try to get November planned this month, instead of the business meeting.

Arch Reactor holiday party for December.

Lan Party – Daniel wants to make Saturdays a regular lan party day/night. Opinion is we still need a monthly during the week version. Suggested combining a board game / lan party night.

Schedule Mondays – costume workshop Oct 13 – costume accessories workshop /wigs Oct 20 – finish costume accessories and wigs Oct 26th – potluck paty Oct 19th – lan / game party Oct 12th – show and tell.

Nov 30th – lego night. Byol. Build something cool and bring it in that day. No kits. Everything at 7 unless otherwise specified.

FIRST Lego League, Talk to Keith for getting involved. Need judges. No experience necessary. Two weekends in November.
