Google Maps is Google's online mapping service.
Regardless of what you believe Google's intentions of using the data (especially GPS Navigation) are, this is one of Google's most versatile products.
Google Maps has made it very easy to find things locally, navigate across town using the mass transit system, or even find a good place to eat. Thus, because Google Maps uses this data so productively, it is sometimes easy to forget that it is being collected.
