2010 February 9 - Emergency Board Meeting Minutes

The Board had an emergency meeting after the February 9th general meeting.

Apparently a series of complaints from the community have been filed against our landlord, Jimmy. There is a strong possibility that Jimmy's business will be shut down, consequently forcing Arch Reactor to find a new residence.

There are no currently complaints against Arch Reactor or its members. The political nature of our landlord's issues would make it a bad idea to fight the complaints and tie ourselves to closely to Jimmy. Though Jimmy has be great landlord, we would unlikely be able to continue to due business in the Cherokee neighborhood.

The board will proceed to look for alternative spaces and form a plan in the event we are forced to relocate. The Board is going to refrain from involving the rest of the group until we have more details, and a plan in place to deal with the issue.
