We're Moving

Calling all Arch Reactor Members! We need your help this Tuesday, April 20th, at 6:00pm.

Schedule:

  1. Meet at the old space in the Lemp Brewery at 6pm
  2. Load the stuff in to the U-Haul and member cars/trucks
  3. Drive to new space
  4. Unload the stuff into it
  5. Eat pizza, drink beer, and have a quick meeting

The time has come for us to move to our bigger and better space. In lieu of not taking up too much project time, we have decided to do the move during our regularly schedule Tuesday night meeting. Please make it a point to attend next week's meeting to help the move.

The new space is on east side of Jefferson just north of Gravois, across from the gas station and car wash. It's about a 5 minute drive from the old space. The address is:

The Jefferson Underground
2400 S. Jefferson Ave.
St. Louis, MO 63104

We will have a U-Haul truck there to reduce trips. Ideally, we'll get everything in one trip, especially if any members can bring their trucks.

Beer and pizza are being provided. Contact Bob Ward, our Minister of Truth, to donate to the beer/pizza fund so there will be more.

Contact Stephen Venters, our Space Ace, with questions about the move.

What you can bring to help:

  • A box or two
  • Your truck, if you have one
  • A friend to grow our membership and to help us move

An insect hotel is a place for insects to raise their young or hibernate over winter. You can use your insect hotel to attract beneficial insects to your garden to feed birds, eat pests, and promote pollination. The insect hotel can be a attractive focal point in your garden and will provide you with many exciting opportunities to get close up views of the lives of the bees, beetles, and butterflies that call your garden home. Each workshop will include several stations to create different types of insect rooms. Come to all 3 workshops to create the insect resort hotel or just come to one and build a motel. Whatever you can manage your insects will thank you.
